My Aims in Dressage
I am currently based with my trainer and mentor Richard Davison, at his yard in Staffordshire in the United Kingdom. Richard is a four-time Olympian and former British number one, but to name but a few of his many career achievements. I consider myself very fortunate to be able to have his support and encouragement on my journey to my Olympic dream. I also benefit from the support of his wife Gillian, a grand-prix rider herself, and their two sons, Tom and Joe, who are always on hand to offer help and advice. The staff are top class and I am very privileged to work with such a talented and accomplished team on a daily basis.
In May 2015, I made my International debut for representing Great Britain at Small tour, comprising of Prix St George and the Intermediate I. Preparation for these tests is on-going whilst I am undertaking training for Grand Prix level at home.
The ultimate goal is to ride at the highest level in Dressage, Grand Prix, and compete in the Olympic games. The aim is to train and compete in preparation for the 2020 games in Tokyo. There are also opportunities to compete Nationally, Internationally and also at the larger championship shows such as the Europeans and the World Equestrian Games.
